Shining a Spotlight

Description and Utility

The Spotlight feature allows users to send praise and recognition to colleagues. Received Spotlights are visible to recipients and their supervisors, and serve as a way to highlight the exemplary efforts, projects, and contributions being made throughout the school.

Reasons to shine a spotlight include (but are not limited to):

  • Witnessing someone going above and beyond the call of duty.
  • Observing an exceptional lesson, student collaboration, or project.
  • A colleague demonstrating courage or leadership during challenging times to benefit the school and students.
  • Collaborating with someone who exemplifies your school’s mission and core values.

Shining a Spotlight is a simple way to make someone's day by recognizing their work and acknowledging them as a valued member of the school community.
