Each account on the myFolio platform has a designated school Cycle to organize the timeframe in which information is documented. The Cycle Rollover date is when the past year's school Cycle ends and the new year's school Cycle begins. Several items on myFolio are tied to the Cycle.

Cycle-dependent Items
Cycle-dependent items include:
- Goals
- All Notes (Conversation, Classroom Observation, Goal Meeting, Mid-Cycle Conversation,
and Year-end Summary), including drafts - Milestones
- Projects
- Survey Requests
Once the Cycle has rolled over, Cycle-dependent items become read-only. Importantly, draft notes are deleted.
Before Cycle Rollover
The myFolio School Admin will receive emails 30 days and 7 days prior to the Rollover reminding them that the Cycle Rollover is approaching. myFolio Admins are prompted to let their faculty and staff know that they should complete outstanding Goals and publish drafted Notes prior to the Cycle Roll-Over date as they will become read-only after the rollover.
After Cycle Rollover
When the myFolio Cycle rolls over, myFolio automatically creates a new Cycle after 12:00 AM on the Cycle Beginning Date. As a myFolio Admin, you do not need to take any action for this to occur.
As a myFolio Admin, you will need to set new Milestone dates for the new Cycle in the Milestone Manager.
Changing the Current Cycle's End Date
The end date of the current Cycle can be changed at any time prior to the end date. To change the end date, click "Manage" then "Cycles."

On the Cycle Manager page, click the Pencil icon.
