Permissions Manager Page
The Permissions Manager page allows the myFolio Admin to assign the three myFolio permission levels to any myFolio user. You can reach this page by clicking "Manage" then "Permissions." The three permission levels are School Administrator, School Data Administrator, and School Viewer.
At least one user at the school needs to be designated as a myFolio School Administrator, but more than one user can also be designated as a myFolio School Admin.
One or more (or none) users can also be designated as a School Data Administrator or School Viewer.
Levels and Their Permissions in myFolio
School Administrator (myFolio Admin)
The myFolio Admin (School Administrator or myFolio School Admin) has the highest permissions in myFolio, having access to both all of the administrative functions as well as access to user profiles, goals, notes (but not survey results.)
The myFolio School Admin configures myFolio based on philosophy-related school decisions.
School Data Administrator
The Data Admin (School Data Administrator or myFolio Data Admin) can act as an assistant, or helper to the myFolio School Admin. They have all of the permissions shown below. They cannot see any user profiles, goals, notes or survey results. They also cannot configure Customizations.
School Viewer
The School Viewer has permission to view all user profiles, goals, notes and survey results. They can not create notes for users, however. An example of how this permission could be used would be to assign it to an administrator acting in a Human Resource capacity at your school. You could also grant School Viewer permissions to an Associate Head if they are not in the supervisory chain.
