Description and Utility
The Community Feed feature in myFolio allows school community members to share insights, best practices, questions, resources, ideas, and celebrations.
Community Posts are visible to the entire school and can be connected to school Themes. Posts can be simple text, or a combination of text, web links, and/or resources (attached files.)
To create a new post, follow these step:
Step 1:
On the Folio Home screen, click the “What do you want to share today?” link.
Step 2: Create your Post
The Post form has an optional Category (Theme) drop-down, an optional Post Title, a required text box and an optional website or file attachment.
After entering the text of your post and a website or file, click Post and it will appear in the Community.
Step 3: Edit or Delete your Post
If you’d like, you can go back and edit or delete any Post you have created.
Important Points about Community Posts
- All Community Posts are public and visible by all myFolio users at your school.
- Pick an appropriate Theme/Category so your Post can be found by users with an interest in the same Theme.
- More features are coming to Community Posts like commenting and favoriting. Look for those soon!
