Adding, Editing and Deleting Employees in myFolio

Adding Employees

On the School Data page, in the Employees section, click the “Manage Employees” button.

NOTE:  To reach the School Data page, click Manage, then School Data.  From here you can add/edit/delete and view myFolio account information for employees

How to Manually Add an Employee

 

To Manually add one or more Employees, follow these steps:

  1. From the Homepage (click your school's logo to get to your Homepage), click "Manage" in the top menu, then click "School Data" in the drop-down menu.  
  2. From the School Data page, click on the "+ Import" button in the Employees section. It's right next to the "Manage Employees" button.
  3. Type Prefix
  4. Type First Name (required)
  5. Type Last Name (required)
  6. Type Email Address (required)
  7. Type Employee ID (required)
  8. Type Year Hired (required)
  9. Click Create Employee

 

 

Editing/Updating Employee Information

  1. To update an employee's information in myFolio, click Manage in the top menu, then click School Data in the drop-down list.
  2. On the School Data page, under Employees, click Manage Employees
  3. Select the Employee or search for them by name, Email Address, or ID
  4. Click edit
  5. Once on the Edit Employee screen, proceed to update any of the editable fields displayed on the screen.  When finished, click Update Employee to save your changes.

 

 

 

Deleting an Employee

NOTE:  If a Supervisor is deleted, their direct reports should be reassigned using Supervisor Assignments prior to deleting the Supervisor.  Data from deleted employees will still be included in reports. Follow these steps:

  1. On the Homepage page (click your school's logo to reach the Homepage page), click Manage in the top menu, then "School Data" in the drop-down menu.
  2. On the School Data page, click the Manage Employees button.
  3. Select the Employee or search by name, Email Address, or ID.
  4. Click the Delete button at the end of the employee's row.
  5. Click OK.

Deleted employees can be restored.  See the section "Restoring an Employee."

 

Restoring an Employee

Profile, Notes, and Comments data will be restored for the Employee. Follow these steps:

  1. From the top menu, click on Manage, then in the drop-down list, School Data.
  2. On the School Data page, in the EMPLOYEES section, click Restore Deleted Employees.
  3. Find the Employee on the page.
  4. Click RESTORE  in their row.
  5. Click OK.
